Google just launched their latest +1 Button that lets you recommend Web sites to those in their social community circle. These functions are similar to the successful Facebook’s ‘Like’ button. Would this newly launched +1 provide a better function to what Facebook has to offer?
Using Google +1 buttons would be familiar to most of us and it will show publicly what you like or hate, agree with or recommend on the web. (sounds familiar?) The +1 buttons would appear in a various places, both on Google and on sites across the web; for example:- on a Google search result, Google ad or next to an article that you’re reading on your favorite news site.
For web developers, you are now able to add +1 buttons to your own sites; just as Google and partners; Mashable, TechCrunch and Best Buy already are adding the feature according to Evan Gilbert ; Google’s +1 programmer who mentioned in a previous blog post.
So, How Do Google Know Which +1’s to Show You??
Like most social search, Google also use signals to identify the most useful recommendations, which includes things liked by the people who are already connected to you through Google.
The power of Google’s +1 actually lies within their relevance – You will get the right recommendations (from the people you know), at the right time (when you are searching for information about specific topics), and using the right formats (from your search results).
So, if you want to know who you’re connected to, and how, go visit the “Social Circle and Content” section of the Google Dashboard.

Truly these amazing apps are developed by Google and Facebook want to know more about us as it would do a better job placing the online ads that generate most of their revenue.
