Mozilla was early by unofficially releasing their latest browser update – Firefox 9, which features a tweak in its JavaScript engine – claiming that it boosts performance improved by 30%! The latest feature is the introduction of type inference to Firefox’s JaegerMonkey JIT compiler.
The update comes with a bunch of bug and stability fixes, some additional HTML5 and CSS support, better improvements for theme integration and added two finger swipe navigation for Mac OS X Lion.

The previous Firefox beta has been updated with the latest beta version 2 and the Mozilla team has added some new functions and fixed issues of compatibilities with Windows & Mac OSX.
